GENJON (fish)

Our villages were built near the waterways for both transportation and food harvesting purposes. Fish were speared, netted and hooked to provide a steady food supply. The inedible parts of the fish were used a fertilizer in the gardens.

We give thanks to the Genjon (fish) because they cleanse and purify the waterways.

The fresh-water Eel is one of our family Clans.
