What do the titleholders do?

There are four groups of people who hold special cultural, political and ceremonial responsibilities:

• Clan Mother that heads the family clan;
• Chief who represents the Family Clan in council;
• Sub-Chief, who assists the Chief;
• Faithkeepers who ensure that the ceremonies are put through each year.
• There are also Pine Tree Chiefs, who serve because of the quality of their thinking and the generosity of their character.
