Longhouses varied in length and width. Depending upon how many families lived within.

Paired cedar posts support the roof. Smaller supports hold bark in place. Siding and roofing made of bark — Red Elm preferred.
Blue
Central corridor with shared firepits. Two families per hearth, referred to as fireside families.
Green
Bunk beds with storage platforms overhead.
Yellow
Vestibules or porches at each end of the longhouse.
