Haudenosaunee Great Seal
The Great Seal of the Haudenosaunee was designed by Oren Lyons (Onondaga). It shows the fifty Chiefs standing in a Circle around the Tree of Peace. From which grow the four White Roots of Peace.
Atop the Tree is the Eagle the Guardian of the Great Peace. Surrounding the Tree are the Family Clans. Standing at the base of the Tree is the Peacemaker, holding Five Arrows that were bound together to show the unity of the Good Minds.
